Strategic Conversations for Change

Today I’m reminded of something from last year. When I first saw this event, I really wanted to go. But my decision started depending on who I was going with. I asked a few friends, hoping we could go together, but none of them were available.
I almost didn’t go because of that. But as time went on, I just felt like I shouldn’t miss it because of other people. So I decided to go alone. And honestly, I’m glad I did. That’s where I got to see my role model in person for the first time, someone I’ve looked up to for a while. But more than that, something shifted in me from that experience. Looking back now, a lot of things that happened after that are shaping who I’m becoming. So seeing this today just reminded me that some things you have to do alone. You can’t always wait for people. If you’re thinking about going this year, don’t let anything stand in your WAY. This is not a promo, just my personal experience about the event.
